FIREFIGHTERS attended a rubbish fire in the back yard of a house in China Street, Accrington, at 9pm on Sunday. They were also called to another rubbish fire in an alleyway off Lower Antley Street, Accrington, at around midnight on the same day.
- FIRE crews from Accrington attended a blaze in a car parked in Dill Hall Lane, Church, on Saturday night. The interior of the Ford Escort was severely damaged in the fire, which happened at around 7.40pm and is being treated as suspicious.
- FIREFIGHTERS were called to Accrington's Arndale Centre on Saturday evening following reports of a smell of smoke. Crews used heat-seeking equipment but could not find any signs of a fire.
