A competition winner had a special day at Lancashire County Cricket Club, including appearing in the team photo.
Michael Seed-Donnelly, from Accrington, won a contest organised by Thwaites brewery and was invited to Old Trafford for the media launch event for the new cricket season.
He met players and head coach Peter Moores, featured in the team photo and had a behind-the-scenes tour of the newly-refurbished stadium.
Michael, who is a keen cricket fan, played for Eagley CC, Egerton CC, Edgeworth CC as well as High View CC in the North West Manchester League for more than 10 years. He said: “It was a fantastic day out, one I will never forget. It was really good to meet Peter Moores, Mike Watkinson, Glen Chapple and some of the other lads who all made me feel very welcome.
“I also enjoyed my tour of Old Trafford which is very impressive.”
