A 25-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder.
Joanne Dickinson, of Kipling Place, Great Harwood, has been remanded to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Police had been called by the ambulance service to an address in Great Harwood at about 11.40pm on Monday, August 27.
On arrival they found a 32-year-old man with significant head injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, where he is now recovering.
