A 25-year-old woman is being questioned on suspicion of wounding after a man received head injuries at an address in Great Harwood last night.
Police were called by the ambulance service to an address on Kipling Place in the town at about 11.40pm on Monday, August 27.
On arrival they found a 32-year-old man with significant head injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, where he is now recovering.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Section 18 wounding (wounding with intent) and she is currently being questioned by detectives.
