Police are appealing for information to trace a woman who ran off after a road collision.
Officers were called to Albert Street in Accrington at around 4am on New Year's Day after a red Peugeot 106 collided with a Mazda 6.
No-one was injured.
A woman was seen to run off from the scene and police are now keen to trace her as a possible witness.
She is described as white, aged between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5ft 7ins tall with long dark hair.
Det Sgt Ian Procter, of East CID, said: “We are keen to trace this woman as a witness and to ensure her safety and I would appeal for anyone with information to contact us.
“I would also ask the woman herself to get in touch with us if she sees this appeal.”
Three men aged 26, 27 and 28 were arrested following the collision.
The 28-year-old man Robert Jeruzalski, of Albert Street, Accrington, has been charged with drink driving, having no licence or insurance and is due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court on January 19.
The other two men were released with no further action.
