Two drug dealers have been jailed for a total of nine years in unrelated cases.

Mark Anthony Waring, 38, was jailed for seven years by Judge Andrew Woolman this week after he was caught with 1.99 kilos of cocaine.

Waring, of Peel Mount, Knuzden, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply and producing cannabis, at Preston Crown Court.

In a separate, unrelated case Alexander McPake, 29, was locked up for two years after admitting possessing heroin with intent to supply.

McPake, of Kingfisher Court, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin, being concerned in supplying heroin and possession of amphetamine.

He was jailed for two years by Judge Beverley Lunt at Burnley Crown Court.
