An 80-year-old man suffered minor head injuries after a collision with a car.
The pensioner was walking along Eastgate in Accrington near to the junction with Abbey Street when the accident happened.
Police said the pedestrian suffered a cut to his head but was conscious, breathing and talking.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Monday, March 31 and paramedics were also called to the scene.
A North West Ambulance spokesperson said: “We got a call at 2.34pm of a road traffic collision at the junction of Eastgate and Abbey Street.
“A man in his 80s had a head injury and was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital.”
