Police are appealing for information after a woman has gone missing in Church.

Amanda McLeary, 40, was staying at a relative’s address on Elmfield Street and was last seen at the house on Sunday, March 29 at around 1.30pm.

Her family have not seen or heard from her since.

Sgt Alec Booth said: “Amanda’s family are understandably getting concerned as they haven’t been in touch with her since Sunday which is unusual.

“I urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to get in touch with us. If Amanda herself sees this appeal, I would ask her to make contact with police or her family to let us know she is okay.”

Amanda is described as 5ft 6ins, with shoulder length blonde hair, of medium build and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, light blue jeans, a pink jumper, multi-coloured Nike trainers and a cream handbag.

Anyone with information about Amanda McLeary’s location can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting the log number 0938 of March 29.
