Pupils at Rishton St Charles primary school have had a ‘fabulous time’ on a residential trip.

Headteacher Vivien Baker said the year six students took part in a three-day trip to Robinwood and Dobroyd Castle in Todmorden.

She said: “They had a fabulous time and the weather was good.

“We go every year and it’s always very good. They particularly enjoyed the canoeing and the raft building. The team building aspect is the most important.

“The curriculum expects is to deliver outdoor adventure activities and we can’t do it here on site.”
