More than 40 cannabis plants have been confiscated by police in two separate raids on the same day in Accrington.
Officers discovered between 20-25 cannabis plants at a property on Robert Street at 12pm on February 1, and found 25 plants two hours later at a property on Eastgate in the town centre.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on February 1 on suspicion of producing class B drugs. He has been released pending further enquiries.
Officers gained entry to the Robert Street property where they uncovered a small cannabis farm.
A Lancashire Constabulary spokesman said police were later contacted at 2pm by a takeaway owner who said that a building on Eastgate had been broken into.
The owner told police he had seen several smashed windows and found some cannabis on the ground in the front yard of the property.
Police attended and found a small cannabis farm inside the empty house. There are currently no suspects and no arrests.
