Youths are being blamed for a rubbish fire on the Matalan car park in Accrington.
Retained firefighters from Hyndburn station were called to the car park off Hyndburn Road at around 10pm on Thursday, October 8.
A spokesperson said: “We were met by a group of youths who were gathered on the car park who reported another group of youths pulling the rubbish out of the large bins and setting light, blocking their exit.
“This is only one of around eight incidents attended there this week.
“Details are being fed to the police and our fire safety enforcement teams to prevent these nuisance fires that could prevent us from attending more critical incidents.”
