Church have re-signed Saeed Anwar as professional for the 2012 season. 

Anwar has played a big part in the team’s success on the field this season with Church not only reaching the Worsley Cup final but also looking set to achieve its highest league position since 2004 when they finished runners-up.

The Pakistani has scored 750 runs and taken 69 wickets.

Chairman Stephen George said: "Saeed is an excellent professional and one of the top performers with both bat and bowl in the league this season.

"He has also played a big part in off the field activities at the club coaching at the club and in local primary schools.

"This has played a part in boosting the number of junior members at the club along with the considerable amount of time and effort our other coaches had devoted to this."

Accrington have re-signed Ashar Zaidi (978 runs; 57 wickets), while Rishton have snapped up Will Driver.

As for Enfield, they are in negotiations with current paid man Werner Coetsee (691 runs, 65 wickets).
