TEN-MAN Accrington Stanley battled their way to three vital points against Morecambe on Saturday.

Stanley had gone a goal down after 12 minutes before Lee McEvilly equalised 10 minutes before half-time.

McEvilly then turned villain when he was red-carded for swinging an elbow, and left the home side with a mountain to climb.

But the Reds came out fighting and were rewarded for their efforts when Paul Mullin struck the winner 19 minutes from time.
