While there have been rumours linking John Coleman with the vacant role at Bradford City, the Stanley boss says he knows nothing about it.
Stuart McCall quit after City’s defeat to Bury on Saturday and the club began interviewing this week with Peter Jackson said to be the favourite for the hotseat.
Coleman said: "The players are doing well and they are linked to clubs and, because the team is doing well, I have been linked as well. Things like that happen. I have heard nothing."
Stanley Chief Executive Rob Heys said: "We have had no word from Bradford and it is just rumours. John is on a 12 month rolling contract with us."
Talks are ongoing with striker Michael Symes about an extended deal.
