BRISTOL Rovers are believed to be lining up a fresh bid to take Accrington Stanley winger Rory Prendergast on loan until the end of the season.
Prendergast has talked about how links to other clubs have unsettled him but knows about the renewed interest after the Bristol newspapers ran a story this week.
It said the Coca Cola League Two club are definitely interested in the 25-year-old after initially asking about him in January. But it is unsure if the Reds will let him go at this critical stage of the season.
Stanley assistant boss Jimmy Bell said: "We think they want to take him on loan until the end of the season. We don't want to lose someone of Rory's calibre but we will have to talk to Rory and see what happens."
Rovers boss Ian Atkins said: "If I get the chance to bring in one or two players on loan between now and the end of the season, it is something worth looking at. It would give them the chance to show us what they could do."
