After setting ourselves up nicely with wins against Barnet and Rotherham we let ourselves down against Rochdale and Burton.

We took the game to Burton for 60 minutes and then, unfortunately, we conceded another goal to make it 2-0 and that really gave them a lift.

And after that it felt like there was only going to be one winner because we could not get out.

They were kicking towards their end and the gaffer was not happy about that.

That is the way that we have been playing all season but the gaffer thought that we should have turned around when we won the toss.

We were hoping to build on the win at Rotherham but we have not been able to do that.

It is getting serious now and we are going to have to turn it around quickly.

I was unhappy with the application against Rochdale and then to lose to Burton.

That makes it a massive game for us on Saturday against Bournemouth, who are doing well. If we have any serious intentions of making the play offs, we are going to have to go and get a result or we are going to be too far behind,

But there is still plenty to play for and you only have to look at the way Rotherham and Port Vale have kicked on and and put themselves into contention.

We have had a points target from a few weeks ago and we felt that 78 points would get us into the play-offs and we were on target after the Rotherham game but we are going to have to add to that to get there.

We have got a couple of tough away fixtures coming up against Bournemouth and Dagenham and Redbridge.

And we have to step up our performances and show what we know that we are capable of.

There are not many positives we can take out of the Burton game. Perhaps it was a hangover from the Rochdale game and we were a bit tired.

But against Rochdale we were the better side for 60 minutes.

We now have to start keeping things tight.

I think that we have to get back to keeping clean sheets and stop conceding too many silly goals.

We have to start playing and defending like we did at Shrewsbury when we ran out winners.
