KIERAN Charnock will be with Accrington until January after they agreed with Peterborough to extend his loan deal.

The defender originally came on a month’s loan but is now set to stay for the maximum three months. "It is a great boost for us," said manager John Coleman.

"We would love to sign him permanently then but will have to wait and see."

Charnock would not though be able to play against his parent club, Posh, if Stanley got through their FA Cup first round replay with Tranmere last night.
