WITH a combined age of 265, these three Accrington Stanley season ticket holders have a lot of stories to tell.
John Brayley started following Stanley when he was eight-years-old and stands at the Interlink in all weathers - in his favourite corner of the ground - despite being 92!
Syd Cookson is 88 and began his love affair with the Reds after he sat his 11-plus exam. He went outside Peel Park School in 1929 and heard the cheers from the ground. A ball came out and he and his friends sneaked into Peel Park with it - and he was hooked!
And Eric Bolton is the young man of the trio. He is 85 and has been following the Reds through their highs and lows since he was eight-years-old - even getting into trouble at work when he took a day off to watch Stanley v Blackburn Rovers in 1937 in the FA Cup replay which the Reds won.
