Burnley will play reserve-team football at both Turf Moor and Accrington Stanley next season.
Accrington’s Crown Ground will continue to be the primary venue for Burnley’s home fixtures in the totesport.com reserve league.
But with a new £750,000 pitch being laid at Turf Moor, the Clarets will also play some of their home games on their own ground.
"The new pitch is harder wearing and therefore it will give us an opportunity to play a number of our reserve games at home, which should benefit everybody," said boss Brian Laws.
Last season’s fixture list was badly disrupted by weather problems with Accrington’s pitch struggling to cope.
But the League Two side has also invested in pitch repairs this summer in a bid to improve their playing surface.
And the Clarets are happy to keep playing at Stanley. "We have a good relationship with Accrington and it’s important we retain that," said Burnley Football Club stadium manager Doug Metcalfe.
