JOHN Coleman made a promise earlier in the season - and may wish he hadn’t.
The Stanley manager said, on Sky sports show Soccer AM, that if the Reds kept ten clean sheets this season, then his players could take shots at his backside on television.
That tenth clean sheet came up against Darlington midweek and captain Peter Cavanagh said: "He’d better stick to it - and he will need padded pants if Jimmy Ryan takes a shot at him!"
Coleman - who will be a contender for Manager of the Month with four wins out of five games - said he would keep to his word.
However he was more worried about his 16th placed side’s challenges for the final seven games of the campaign.
"I would like to get to 50 points," he said with his side on 43. "We got to 51 points last season but I think we have played better this season and 50 would be a good target."
