Stanley chief executive Rob Heys has said the wages should be up-to-date by the time the Observer went to press.
Ilyas Khan took over the ownership of Stanley two weeks ago and boss John Coleman admitted last week his disappointment that his promotion-chasing players hadn’t been paid their full wages for last month.
"It should be sorted out by today," said Heys. "Another lot of money came into the club on Thursday morning and so the players should have been paid the majority of their wages.
"To be fair to Ilyas, in the last two weeks there have been various monies to pay out, such as to the HMRC, in the ownership deal, to various creditors and now the wages.
"It has taken time but now we should be up-to-date."
