Ossy Rangers : The Under eights earned a 1-1 draw against Knuzden. Alfie Cook scored and Adam Smith was MOTM.

The Under 12s finished with a 2-2 draw against Wilpshire. Matthew Haworth and Sam Etherington were the scorers with James Leech MOTM.

The Under 13s lost 6-0 to Rishton United.

St Josephs : The Under 14s put on a lack lustre performance to lose 3-0 to Akzo Nobel.

THE Taverners : The ten men lost 2-0 to Commercial Old Boys. Goalkeeper and MOTM Jonathan Rushton pulled off some great saves to the score down.

GREAT HARWOOD ROVERS : The Under 10s were comfortable 8-0 winners over Rishton United.

MOTM Jack Woodcock scored a hat-trick, Oliver Cruse and George Ramsbottom scored two each and former Rishton player George Nightingale grabbed the other.

The Under 11s played for the first time in six weeks and won 3-2 against Knuzden.

Rovers scored twice in the first half before Karl Sutton rifled home the winner. MOTM was Ryan Mitchell.

Huncoat United : On Saturday, the Under nines had a good win, beating Rishton United 3-1.

Henry Hindle, Joe Lloyd and Lewis Honey scored the goals while Jack Briggs was MOTM.

Sunday’s Badgers also enjoyed a great victory - beating Accrington Stanley 4-0. Joel Fox scored twice while Lewis Eccles and MOTM Danny Leeming got the others.

The Under 11s Allstars clash with Clitheroe Wolves Red ended goalless. Referee’s MOTM was Bradley Thompson while Manager’s MOTM was Callum Harrison.

The Under 11s Red came back from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 against Barnoldswick Barons.

MOTM Spencer Harris scored two while Brandon Read and Zac Bannan scored one each.

Huncoat’s Under 11s White overcame Lammack 7-1. MOTM Perry Jepson scored a hat-trick, Spencer Harris grabbed two and Chris Dwyer and Robert Powell chipped in with one each.

The Under 12s lost 6-1 against Accrington Stanley.

Saturday’s Under 13s also lost against Accrington Stanley, this time 2-0 while the Under 13s had a better day on Sunday beating Great Harwood Rovers 7-1.

Saturday’s Under 14s drew 0-0 against Briercliffe Celtic with MOTM Ryan Pearson.

The Under 14s were in action again on Sunday, but this time they got in the goals, beating Rossendale Valley 9-1.

Scorers were Jake Crabbtree (two), Brandon Barski (two) and one each from Elliott Neil, Matt Fearon, Jamie Bates, Bradley Herbert and Andy Eaton. MOTM Jake Crabbtree.

Greyhound Ford: The Under nines faced Haslingden with the latter 1-0 up at half-time. Ben Knowles equalised after the break and then Jordan Taylor came up with a superb goal from the edge of the box to take all three points.

The Referee’s MOTM was Ben Knowles and the Manager’s MOTM was Brooklyn Cross who made an impressive debut.

RISHTON UNITED : In the North Valley League, the Under Eights Blue lost 8-0 to Pendle Forest Pumas.

Despite the scoreline, there were some good performances on the pitch, especially from Harry Nightingale and Daniel Curren.

The Under 10s lost 3-1 to Trawden Celtic - but it was a good performance after losing 10-0 to Trawden earlier in the season.

Trawden scored two quick goals in the first half and then added a third. But Rishton came back through Lewis Aspden. MOTM was Daniel Holden.

In the Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn League, the Under 14s lost 5-0 to Darwen Rangers despite a battling show.

In the Accrington and District Junior League, the Under nine’s lost 3-1 to Huncoat.

The Under 10s beat Great Harwood 8-0 while the Under 13s were 6-0 winners over Oswaldtwistle Rangers.

Bradley Campbell opened the scoring and Adam Aspinall slotted home a penalty.

The third goal came just before half-time from Campbell.

Dylan Cross scored after the break while Mason Ralph then capped a MOTM show with a goal from a 20 yard free kick.

The scoring was completed in the last minute when Campbell celebrated his hat-trick from close range.

The Under 14s Blue lost 4-3 to Globe Bullough Park. With the wind advantage, Liam McNulty opened the scoring before Kyle Driver made it 2-0 at half-time.

Globe came back after the break and hit four before Kyle Driver’s 25-yard strike finished the scoring. Referee’s MOTM was Kyle Driver while Rishton’s MOTM was Liam McNulty.

The Under 15s drew 2-2 with Baxenden Villa.

ACCRINGTON STANLEY JFL: On Saturday, the Under 10s beat Church 7-0 with three goals from McHugh, two from Swift and one each from Forkin and Alexander.

The Under 12s Blue were 6-4 winners over Darwen thanks to a hat-trick from Butterworth, two from Shaw and one from Poulton.

The Under 12s put six past Huncoat in a 6-1 win with Yates scoring three and Howarth, McPartlan and Nuttall grabbing the others.

Cunningham and Sturgess were on target as the Under 13s won 2-0 against Huncoat.

The Under 15s ran out 2-0 winners over Readstone with Howarth and Hoctor the scorers.

On Sunday, the Under eights Yellow drew 0-0 with Akzo Green while the White side put nine past Akzo Yellow. Ward got four, Shaw two and Hall, Barden and Barnes one each.

The Under nines Red drew 0-0 with Knuzden while the White’s lost 4-0 to Huncoat.

The Under tens were 9-0 winners over Mellor with Nelson and Wilkinson celebrating a hat-trick each while Brindle, Swift and Downes got the others. The Under 10s White lost 2-0 to Belvedere.

IN the LFA Cup quarter-final, Butterworth, Shaw and Poulton were on target to steer Stanley past Mellor and into to the semi-finals. They face Tempest United at home on 20 January.

Tattersall was the scorer for the Under 12s White as they drew 1-1 with Blue Star while the Under 13s were 4-3 winners over Akzo. Parrington got a hat-trick with Jones the other.

The Under 15s were 3-1 winners over Clitheroe Wolves with Oxendale, Campbell and Hoctor on target.

In the Under 16 LFA Cup quarter-final, Radcliffe Borough were 3-2 victors over Accrington after extra-time.
