ACCRINGTON Stanley's horrendous luck with injuries continued with manager John Coleman once again down to the bare bones for tomorrow's (Sat) clash with Shrewsbury.

After a good debut in the 2-0 loss to Grimsby on Saturday, Liverpool midfielder David Mannix has returned to the Premiership club after damaging his knee ligaments. The highly-rated 21-year-old has suffered with injuries throughout his career and he has been ruled out for the rest of his month's loan period.

"It's a big blow," said Coleman.

Left back Leam Richardson is battling with a groin injury while Peter Cavanagh (knee), Rommy Boco (back) and Andy Tretton (knee) are long term casualties.

And suspensions will rule out Jay Harris, who is serving the last of a three game ban while Shaun Whalley, sent off at Doncaster on Tuesday, begins the first of a three match ban. Coleman does though have loan signing Adam Dugdale back available - he was cup-tied in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy loss.
