A single goal from Ryan McLean was enough to claim a cup final place for Knuzden Whites U-10s in their semi-final against Mill Hill.

Knuzden got off to a very strong start and created good few chances with both Thomas Rishton and Ryan McClean leading the charge on goal.

And they were supported by Loui Rimmer, playing wide on the right who made some strong attacking runs.

And the only goal of the game came after 18 minutes when Ryan McLean netted.

Both sides had chances but Knuzden keeper Aiden Whitehead kept all the shots at bay.

And Knuzden nearly snatched a second goal 10 minutes from time but Brynn Mason’s shot hit the right post.

But Brynn went on to get the man of the match award as Knuzden held on and progressed to meet Huncoat Badgers at the Anchor Ground at Darwen on 25 April.

Langho Juniors U-14s are looking for new players for the next season at U15 level.

All positions will be considered so if you have big match experience please ring Nigel Stones on 07939258377 or Tim Phelps on 07866230619 to arrange a trial and meet the team.
