HOW Stanley's League Two opponents are shaping up for the new season …
BARNET - Finished 18th last season in League Two: Guiliano Grazioli scored eight goals last season and he will be expecting more this season after winning the Golden Boot in the Conference
BOSTON - Finished the League Two season in 11th spot: Top scorer last season was Julian Joachim with 16 league goals. There is also the threat of ex-Stevenage striker Anthony Elding. Richie Ryan is their playmaker - a former Sunderland trainee.
BRISTOL ROVERS - Ended up in 12th place in League Two: Richard Wallker found the target 21 times last season in his battle with Junior Agogo, who got 18. Walker is 15-1 with Coral to finish the league's leading scorer. Lewis Haldane can play striker or right winger and the club are expecting big things from him.
BURY - A relegation fight and finished 19th in League Two: Battling midfielder David Flitcroft won the club's Player of the Year last season but they have signed up York's prolific marksman Andy Bishop, who Stanley were chasing.
CHESTER - Mid-table 15th for Chester: Spent a five figure fee on ex-Doncaster midfielder Ricky Ravenhill but Drew Broughton is tipped by many as one to watch.
DARLINGTON - Eighth and missed out in play-offs. Swiss striker Gaetono Giallanza, a former Norwich and Bolton player, is hoping to make an impact while Martin Smith is also a threat.
GRIMSBY - Finished fourth and lost in play-off final to Cheltenham. One of the meanest defences in League Two: Striker Michael Reddy fired home 14 league goals last season and is the favourite, at 11-1 with Bet 365, to finish the league's top scorer.
HARTLEPOOL - Took up the last relegation spot from League One on the final day of the season: Just lost striker Adam Boyd to Luton and Eifion Williams and Michael Proctor shared seven goals each last season. High hopes for 21-year-old striker James Brown.
HEREFORD - Promoted from the Conference via the play-offs. Defender Tamika Mkandawire was Player of the Year last season, is the new club captain and has just signed a new deal.
LINCOLN - Finished seventh and missed out in play-offs. Lost top scorer Marvin Richardson to Chester but Jamie Forrester is a danger in front of goal.
MACCLESFIELD - A 17th place finish in League Two: Clyde Wijnhard struck home 12 goals last season but he has gone and they have just signed ex-Manchester United forward Colin Heath.
MANSFIELD - 16th spot finish for the Stags. Ex-Rotherham hitman Richie Barker fired home 23 goals last season and is tipped to be among the league's top scorers next season. Young attacker midfielder Giles Coke is also highly rated.
MK DONS - Relegated from League One. Izale McLeod was the star hitman, scoring 18 times last season although tall striker Clive Platt is always a danger as is Aaron Wilbraham. Expecting big things from left back Dean Lewington was the club's Player of the Season 2003/4.
NOTTS COUNTY - Flirted with relegation to the Conference and ended up in 21st spot - two places above the bottom two. Have ex- Tranmere striker Eugene Dadi among their squad.
PETERBOROUGH - In ninth place just out of play-offs. Signed striker Simon Yeo while Danny Crow was the star striker with 17 goals last campaign. However, the bookies tip ex-Woking striker Justin Richards to shine, Bet 365 making him 13-1 to finish the league's top scorer.
ROCHDALE - Finished 14th in League Two. Their main threat would be Rickie Lambert although he injured his ankle in pre-season. Scored 22 goals last season while the highly-rated Grant Holt got 15.
SHREWSBURY - Ended up in 10th spot in League Two: Signed ex-Burnley and Stoke striker Andy Cooke who is hoping to make a big impact.
STOCKPORT - Just missed out on relegation to the Conference on the final day of the season. Finished third from bottom. Hatters hope Tesfaye Bramble will make an impression while captain Tony Dinning has returned to the club from Port Vale.
SWINDON - Relegated in second off bottom place from League One. Christian Roberts is tipped to shine for the Robins.
TORQUAY - 20th in League Two. Tony Bedeau grabbed 11 goals last season although they have snapped up former Aston Villa midfielder Jamie Ward who Ian Atkins chased for a while and held off the attentions of Stockport and Wrexham.
WALSALL - Bottom of League One. Martin Butler gets the bookies vote for the dangerman. He is 13-1 to be the league's top scorer with Bet 365.
WREXHAM - An unlucky 13th finish for the Dragons. Could have been ex-Stanley striker Lee McEvilly but he is injured so they are expecting big things from Juan Ugarte, a striker they have re-signed after a spell at Crewe. Was formidable for Dragons in first spell there.
WYCOMBE - Sixth place but missed out in play-offs. Tommy Mooney fired home 19 goals last season and is a major threat.
