A CHEEKY e-mail has got eight Accrington Stanley fans on Saturday's cult Sky football show, Soccer AM.

Jason Graham, who makes the huge flags for the Stanley Ultras, e-mailed the programme makers as soon as Stanley confirmed their return to the Football League in April.

"We tried a couple of years ago but were told they didn't accept non league teams so as soon as we got promoted I sent off a cheeky e-mail," said Jason.

"I did it really for next season but they told us to come tomorrow [Sat]. It is the last one of the series and just before the FA Cup final and it is meant to be a party atmosphere. We are all really excited."

The eight fans, who will be decked out in their home Stanley shirts, are Jason, Andrew Camm, Steve Lowe, Liam Smith, Neal Goulding, Gareth Hodgson, Ian Plumley and David "Hobby" Hobson - recognisable by having Stanley tattooed on his head!

The group will be sitting in the "Luther Blissett Stand" while Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy interview such guests as Oasis' Noel Gallagher, actor Richard E Grant, goalkeeper Paul Robinson, ex-QPR boss Ian Holloway and band Dirty Pretty Things.

The fans will also take part in the various weekly stunts including the catwalk 'strut' with the soccerette and firing the football through the "Wembley hole".

"I have been practising my catwalk routine so I hope I get picked!" continued Jason.

"We are travelling down today and are getting put up in a five star hotel. We will do the show - and will try and be as rowdy as possible! - then play football against Noel Gallagher and the Soccer AM team before going onto watch the FA Cup final in a pub with them. It should be brilliant."

Jason has also been making one of his special flags for the show - with an Oasis theme.

"I was thinking along the lines of Stanley Supernova or something like that!"

Fan Steve Lowe said: "I feel like all my birthdays and christmases have come at once as we have been trying to get on the show for years."

Soccer AM runs from 9am-12 on Sky One on Saturday.
