ACCRINGTON Stanley have signed goalkeeping coach Ian Willcock.
Willcock had the same role at League Two side Bury FC last season and has played in the Welsh League and was second choice at Morecambe behind Craig Mawson for a season before he moved to the Shakers in a coaching capacity.
"He sent in a CV and he has been recommended by our former coach Andy Dibble," said Stanley manager John Coleman.
"It will be good for the keepers. I think a goalkeeping coach makes the keepers feel looked after and it reflects in their performances."
Willcock will be responsible for new signing Kenny Arthur, Ian Dunbavin and Martin Fearon.
Coleman also hasn't ruled out bringing another coach in.
Since Paul Cook left, they have been without a coach to help alongside Coleman and assistant manager Jimmy Bell.
Tony Grant, who they signed as a player-coach last season, left the club in May.
