STANLEY chief John Coleman reserved special praise for Andrew Procter on Tuesday when the skipper made his 300th appearance for the club.
Speaking after the 2-0 win against Shrewsbury Town, Coleman said: "Andy has been fantastic here, a great servant. He always tries to improve his game and takes on board everything that’s said to him. He has one of the best attitudes I’ve ever encountered in football.
"He may not always agree with everything I say, but he’ll always air that privately, never publicly, and he’s very much on our side.
"Andy knows the emotion Jimmy and myself go through and he knows we have the club at heart and want what’s best for them. He should be commended for the way he has served us, the desire he shows on the pitch and the way he has progressed his game. I still think he has a great future ahead of him."
