STANLEY boss John Coleman hopes next week’s five day break in Spain will allow his side to finally train properly.

The Reds face FC Torrevieja in a friendly game on Wednesday (ko 8pm), who play in the fourth tier of the Spanish League.

The Reds head to the Costa Blanca - where there is a strong ex-Pat contingent - on Sunday, returning Thursday.

"The big thing for me is just getting the chance to train on grass," said Coleman, whose side have been limited to training at Liverpool Academy, in the JJB and Radcliffe astroturf during the recent bad weather.

"It has been so frustrating but we should get a good four days of training in and I am looking forward to that.

"It has come about through a few people close to the club and I think it is funded by the team we are going to play so it is a welcome break."
