Stevenage assistant boss Dino Maamria is a big admirer of Stanley.
Despite being based down south, Maamria has a house in Burnley and has been to the Crown Ground a number of times this season – and he has been impressed.
"Accrington play some great football, they have a great team spirit, they work hard for each other and John Coleman and Jimmy Bell have done a tremendous job on a limited budget," he said.
"They are quite similar to us. Both clubs don’t have the resources of Bradford or Chesterfield but what we do have is a bunch of honest players who will work hard for each other and have a great team spirit.
"I am delighted both have made it to the play-offs and whichever team gets through, they will deserve it, although obviously I hope it’s us.
"We can’t underestimate Accrington though and we won’t. We were 2-0 up at our place and they scored two late goals to equalise but they deserved it. We know we are going to have to be 100 per cent prepared."
He continued: "There is a buzz around our club at the moment and I am sure both teams are pleased to achieve a top seven spot. Accrington are one of the best teams in the league and have got the momentum but we have dealt with the pressure of the play-offs in previous seasons and the FA¿Trophy final.
"And we also beat Newcastle in the FA Cup earlier this season so I do think we can handle the big games. You never know what will happen though and we just have to hope it goes our way while Accrington will be hoping it doesn’t."
