STANLEY’S Paul Mullin got on the scoresheet in Spain - but two red cards made it a feisty clash for the Reds ahead of a busy League Two schedule.
Mullin scored the only goal of the game in the first half in their friendly against FC Torrevieja on Wednesday night.
But both Bobby Grant and Andy Smith were sent off in what turned out to be a physical affair at the Vicente Garcia Stadium.
Most of the squad got a run out though and both manager John Coleman and Jimmy Bell put in an appearance.
And Coleman says the five day winter break at the Costa Blanca has been worthwhile.
"We have had some good training sessions," said the Reds boss. "The pitches have been decent."
