ACCRINGTON captain Peter Cavanagh is hoping his team-mates will steer the Reds to Wembley in his absence.

The Johnstone Paint's Trophy final may be held at the newly built stadium but the skipper will miss out on Tuesday's Northern area quarter-final trip to Division One side Doncaster Rovers with medial ligament damage.

"I was reading that the final might be played at the new Wembley as a dress rehearsal for when it is officially opened the season after," said the captain.

"It would be very nice to lift a trophy at Wembley - I just hope the lads can get there for me!"

Tickets are now on sale for the clash at Belle Vue.

It isn't, though, all-ticket and supporters will be able to buy tickets on the day.

Admission will be £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

However, any adult buying a ticket before 5pm next Monday, will also be entitled to a free ticket for a child Under 16.

Tickets are available in the Stanley Store until Tuesday at 3pm and also online until today at 5pm.

There are also a limited number of spaces for wheelchairs which must be booked with Suzanne at Doncaster Rovers on 01302 539441.
