Accrington boxer Luke Blackledge made a stylish TV debut on Friday evening at Manchester’s Bowlers Exhibition Centre.

The Kokoro professional fighter made light work of Crawley’s Joe Ryan Walsh with a first-round knockout live on Sky Sports’ Box Nation.

This extended Luke’s undefeated professional record to five fights and five wins in the competitive super-middleweight division, having made the switch from kickboxing

Luke is now set to fight Manchester’s Phil Fury, brother of British and Commonwealth Heavyweight champion Tyson, on November 12 over six three-minute rounds.

Coach Jason Curtis said: "This will be the first time Luke has boxed 6x3 but he is super fit and used to fighting on a regular basis, contesting in 33 bouts over the last three years with me."
