BRIDGE INN celebrated the double - but it was a nervy end to the season in both the cup and the league.

Bridge won the Accrington and District Combination League on the final day of the season.

They finished two points ahead of runners-up Accrington Loyal.

And the big two clashed in the final of the Calvert Cup. It was touch and go for a while before Lee Myerscough popped up to score the winner in the final 10 minutes to make it a memorable double.

Bridge Inn did celebrate league success last year but were then known as Cross Guns.
