NEW Church Cricket Club professional Greg Mail celebrated his decision to join the West Enders with a sterling all-round performance for New South Wales as they beat Western Australia in the Pura Cup in Perth

Mail scored 90 and shared a stand for the first wicket of 263 with former Test star Michael Slater.

Mail then recorded his best-ever First Class bowling figures of four for 18 as the hosts were bowled out for 110.

Mail ended on the winning side despite going wicketless as WA followed on a duck in his State's second innings as they only got home narrowly.

Church's neighbours, Jennings Ribblesdale League side Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, are hoping to name their new professional soon after an extensive search.
