ACCRINGTON Stanley Under 12s made it a double celebration after they lifted the Lancashire FA Cup - emulating their Under 15s who also crowned the county's best three weeks ago.

The pressure was on the Under 12s when they took on Poulton Youth at Leyland as Stanley looked to become the first club to hold the title at two different age groups.

Stanley opened the scoring when Scott Duxbury found Harrison Parrington who played in a low cross which Ryan Punch tucked away. Kiefer Cunningham set up Jack Warren for the second.

Poulton came into the game towards the end of the half and kept pressing after the break but keeper Thomas Burrows pulled off a fine save and the next move ended in Stanley's third goal.

Danny Lomax was involved and, as the ball fell to Jordan Knott, he was fouled in the box but advantage was played by the referee and Scott Duxbury fired home.

No fewer than seven players were involved in the fourth goal - full-back Harry Marsden played the ball to winger Punch and he found Duxbury. He set up centre half Kane Drelincourt who passed to Danny Lomax. He in turn sent Parrington down the left wing and unselfishly the winger found Knott who put the ball away.

Stanley celebrated the win with a lap of honour.
