GREAT Harwood boss Dave Bradford will be glad to turn his attention to the FA Vase on Saturday after another set of disappointing NWCL Division One results.

They travel to Hull to take on North East Counties side Hall Road Rangers in the second qualifying round and need a win to boost morale (3pm).

They have now lost their last six league games with a 3-0 defeat to Atherton LR on Saturday followed by a 2-0 loss in their local derby at Ramsbottom on Tuesday night.

It means the Robins are rock bottom of the table but Bradford has been struggling with his team as he had seven players missing on Saturday - including goalkeeper Bobby Harris, striker John Eastham and the experienced Neil Kennedy.

"It has been a hard start for Dave," said Harwood chairman Bill Holden.

"He had six or seven players out on Saturday but we played better against Ramsbottom, they were just that bit stronger.

"Hopefully though we can start to move up the table."

They have a chance to do this on Monday when they have a home game against Skelmersdale (ko 7.45pm)
