WHINNEY HILL extended their unbeaten run to six games with their 3-2 West Lancashire League win over Garstang. Mark Beard opened the scoring on seven minutes but they squandered numerous opportunities. Paul Prestage scored the second after the break and then Garstang had a player sent off. But the ten men threw caution to the wind and drew level with two quick goals. Hill responded well and Noel Grimshaw slotted home a deserved winning goal.

BAXENDEN VILLA: The Under 14s are back to winning ways with a 10-0 victory over Blackburn United. Referee's MOTM Arron McCarthy led the way with six goals with Callum Clayton-Grimshaw scoring two, and Josh Morton and Paul Rigby completing the scoring. Mark Williams was Supporters' MOTM and Sam Astin took the Manager's award.
Under 12s: They lost 7-0 to Ossy Rangers. Dominic Connor took the manager's and referee's MOTM awards with Jordan Lund earning the supporters' vote.
Under 11s: They maintained their unbeaten record with a 2-0 win over Clitheroe Wolves. Cameron Cole and Jordan Schofield were on target. Josh Haworth was outstanding.

GREAT HARWOOD ROVERS: The Under 8s Panthers celebrated a 5-0 win over Brierfield Celtic Blue. Scorers were Bradley Davies, Niall Malone, Alex Rawcliffe, and Tyler Denbigh (2).
The Under 9s: The Tigers lost 3-2 to Mellor Blue, Kegan scored twice. The Under 9s Rovers: They lost 3-0 at Mellor Yellow. Paul Baron was MOTM.
The Under 9s Panthers: Matthew Freely scored a late goal to win 1-0 against St Josephs.
In the cup the Under 12s were at Tarleton Corinthians. MOTM Jordan Allen grabbed a brace with Jamie Slater adding a third before Darren Haworth scored from 25 yards, making it 4-1.

KNUZDEN: The Under 12s lost 9-1 to Borrowdale in the VMI Accrington Junior League. Krystian Denwood was MOTM while Danny Cruickshank scored from a free kick.
The Under 13s: They lost 7-2 to Akzo. Scorers were Tom Archer and Ash Watson. Under 14s: They defeated Wilpshire Wanderers 6-2.
Under 16s: They celebrated a 6-1 victory over Walsmley FC to remain unbeaten at the top of the VMI Accrington Junior League. Liam MacMillan scored a hat-trick, Anthony Beddows, Abed and Dale Bullen got the others. MOTM was defender Steve Saunders.
Under 17s: They won 6-1 in the Red Rose Blackburn Youth League. Anthony Beddows scored five and Gordon McKay got the other. Stand-in captain Steve Downall was MOTM.
Senior side: They took on unbeaten Lower Darwen in Division One of the Blackburn Sunday League and won 2-0 with an own goal and Christian Clarkson on target.

OSWALDTWISTLE VILLA: The Under 15s won by a staggering 16-0 against Brunlea Juniors in the McDonalds Hyndburn and District League. Danny Pilkington grabbed seven to take his tally to 17 in four games. Nathan Cross and James Thomas got a hat-trick each while Vincent Cirino, Carl Stephenson and Matt Alston got one each.

HUNCOAT UNITED FC: On Saturday, Huncoat United Under 16s defeated Rishton United 3-2. Goals from Martin Parkes, Anthony Spencer and Thomas Riley. MOTM: Shaun Corcoran. On Sunday, the Under 16s defeated Gt Harwood Rovers 6-2 with goals from Anthony Spencer (2), Graeme Sneddon (2), Danny Brady and Martin Stephenson. MOTM: Ricky Whittaker
The Under 10s defeated Barrowford 2-0. Jamie Bates scored two on his debut. MOTM: Jack Dobson. The Under 10 Red defeated Readstone United Yellow 6-0 with goals from Sam Tattersall, Elliot Neil (2), Matt Fearn, Jack Dobson and Kyle Broadhurst.
