GREAT HARWOOD are on the hunt for more silverware when they face Clitheroe on Tuesday in the battle to be the top Ribblesdale League side in the inaugural Thwaites 20-20 competition.

The competition involves teams from the Ribblesdale League, Northern Premier League and Central Lancashire League.

Ten teams started the competition from the Ribblesdale League with Clitheroe, Harwood, Blackburn Northern and Earby making it through to the Ribblesdale League semi's.

They will play this week with Harwood travelling to Clitheroe on Tuesday (start 6.30pm). Crompton are through from the Central Lancashire league while the Northern League are still on the hunt for their winner.

The final day will involve a triangular tournament in coloured clothing. Teams are restricted to four bowlers each and the overs may be restricted if there is bad weather.
