GREAT Harwood are hoping to get their league form back on track with a big local derby against Colne on Monday night (ko 7.45pm).
Things haven't gone to plan for Dave Bradford's side with luck evading them but the boss is hoping it all comes right against a Colne side, who were promoted with Harwood last season but who have also had a mixed start to the season.
On Saturday, Harwood lost in the FA Cup preliminary round to Glasshoughton Welfare with Bobby Harris saving a twice taken penalty - but the Yorkshire side then got another one in the 2-0 loss.
And then, despite John Eastham hitting the post, the Robins lost out again 2-0 at Glossop in the NWCL Division One on Tuesday night.
"We just need a change of fortune," said the manager. "Everything seems to be going against us.
"We were unlucky in the FA Cup and then again on Tuesday. Now we need to bounce back and hope luck is on our side."
Before their derby match with Colne, Harwood take on NWCL Division Two high-flyers New Mills in the FA Vase first qualifying round tomorrow.
"We are out of the FA Cup so we want to see how far we can get in the Vase," said Bradford.
Striker Paul Mashiter is hoping to be fit after missing the midweek loss through injury.
