SWIMMING STAR Jordan Theaker is certainly talented.
And the 13-year-old has been called onto an England development programme to make the most of his swimming prowess.
Jordan, of Great Harwood Otters and Gallica Swimming Clubs, has been invited to attend a regional sports clinic as part of the England Swimming Talent Development Program.
It is being held at Manchester Aquatic Centre in January and will be hosted by Dave Evitts, the Regional Development Coach along with representatives from the Amateur Swimming Association.
The day will cover specific swimming skills development in all disciplines, swimmer psychology and dry land work.
It is a reward after a hard season for Jordan who won a staggering seven medals at the National Championships in July.
Mark Wilson, Acting Headmaster of Norden Sports College where Jordan attends, said: "This is fantastic news for Jordan, he works very hard at school and we will continue to support him in his swimming as much as we can."
Jordan has also been awarded a £500 grant from British Swimming towards his training costs and expenses.
