St Josephs

The Under 11s maintained their lead at the top of the table with a comfortable 10-0 win over Rossendale Valley.

Goal scorers were Bryn Hargreaves (two), Connor Wyre (two), Andy Heaton (three), Zack Simpson, Luke Turner and Ben Birch. MOTM was Connor Wyre.

The U10s lost to Barrowford Celtic Red after a titanic battle at Livingstone Road.

The Saints created as many chances as the opposition but were not able to convert any of them.

Manager's MOTM Zach Hallworth came close twice as did Declan Keeney and Ben Pettifer but it wasn't to be. The Saints can take heart from the work rate and effort that was given all the way through the game.

Accrington Ammateurs

The Under 11s were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Briercliffe Rovers. Accrington were in control at half-time but allowed in two quick goals shortly after the break and then failed to breakdown Briercliffe's defence. Accrington's goalscorer was Jack Martiny-Schofield and MOTM was centre back Callum Dudley.

Huncoat United

The Under eights were in action twice at the weekend first beating Trawden Celtic 2-1 thanks to goals from Jimmy Mason and one from MOTM Scott Hughes.

Their second game saw them beat Barnoldswick Town 3-2, goals from Jimmy Mason, Chris Dwyer and one from MOTM Lewis Wilkinson.

The Under 10s also played twice, first losing 1-0, in a top of the table clash against Colne Clarets. The MOTM was Casey Maken. Their second game saw them make amends beating Haslingden Blue 2-0 thanks to goals from Josh Roberts and Callum Carter. MOTM was Harris Ali.

The Under 11s continued their good run of form beating Blackburn Eagles 11-0 with a hat-trick from Brynley Hargreaves, Luke Broadhurst and Matt Fearon scored two each with Andy Eaton, Elliott Neill, Ryan Pearson and Jake Crabtree getting the others.

Great Harwood Rovers Boys

The Under 10s Panthers were at home to Akzo, goals from Chris Whitaker (two) and Luke Kenyon (1) saw them take a deserved lead. But Akzo battled back to make it 3-3 with Jordan Knott getting MOTM.

The Under 15s B entertained Langho Juniors at Wilsons producing a 4-2 victory. Goals came from Sherman O'Conner, Ashley Hall (two) and Adam Wood.

The Under 16s were at home to Hapton Harriers, a goal from Martin Trickett got them off the mark, only to see Hapton pull a goal back in the second half.

Robert Garvin produced the winning goal from a superb free-kick making the final score 2-1 with John Beadle MOTM.

Oswaldtwistle FC

The Under 10s drew 5-5 with Langho Juniors. It was an entertaining game and was nail-biting towards the end but a draw was a fair result. MOTM Matthew Woodhouse scored a hat-trick with Callum Kennedy grabbing two.

The Under 13s won 7-1 against Wilpshire Wanderers Red.Captain and Referee's MOTM Danny Stokes led them to victory with hat-tricks from Sam Wixted and Luke Gilrane and a stunner from Sam Carter.

The Under 16s are top of the league with four wins out of five but they couldn't see off a strong Colne side. The game could have gone either way but ended goalless.

Oswaldtwistle St Mary's

The Under eights celebrated a 7-0 win against Haslingden Junior's Blue. MOTM Daniel Robinson celebrated a hat-trick with James Kelly (two), Dominic Meadowcroft and Liam Assalone scoring the others.

The following week they enjoyed a 5-2 win over Oakdale Rovers with MOTM Liam Assalone grabbing two and James Kelly, Jack Taylor and Dominic Meadowcroft on target.

The Under 10s won 7-0 against Rishton United Blue with MOTM Sam Griffin firing home a hat-trick and Harvey Aspin, Sebastian Denwood, Ross Gilrane and Aaron Landsberger scoring the others on Saturday. On Sunday, the Under 10s had a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Whalley Juniors. Harvey Aspin, Sebastian Denwood, Brandon Ward and James Haken scored with MOTM Sam Griffin.

The Under nines drew 3-3 with Accrington Stanley. Sam Etherington scored twice, Daniel Leech once and James Leech was MOTM.

The Under sevens won 13-0 against Blue Star B. Elliott Fisher was top scorer with four goals, Jack Anderson celebrated a hat-trick, while Lewis Tomlinson, Ellis Bickerstaff and MOTM Jake Hargreaves got two goals each.

Haslingden Juniors

The Under 14s defeated Knuzden Youth 13-1. Both strikers Jake Braysford and Scott Wylie scored five each. Haslingden scored five times in the first ten minutes - Braysford and Wylie with two each and Phil Nutter with the other.

Knuzden reduced the arrears but Wylie and Braysford hit back to celebrate their hat-tricks. An own goal made it 8-1 at half-time. The strikers continued their scoring feats before James Bush completed the scoring.

Wylie was the Referee's MOTM and Braysford the Manager's.

Ossy Rangers

Adam Hughes was awarded the Referee's MOTM in the Under 13s close fought 4-3 win over JFC Dynamoes The goals came from Adam Brown, Conor Filbin and two from Tom Tattersall.

Despite losing 2-0 to Great Harwood Rovers, Dominic Reily was awarded the Referee's MOTM for the Under 10s. They have got a new sponsor with Stuart Starkie from SPS Drylining funding their new black and white strip.

Jules Laviscount got the Referee's MOTM for the Under 11s White in their 0-0 draw with Rishton United Blue and Danny Leeming got the Referee's MOTM for the Under sevens. They lost 2-3 to Akzo Juniors, the goals coming from Leon Creech and Kieran Riley.

The Under 11s Black came out on top 2-1 against Great Harwood Rovers in a match that could have gone either way. Ben Murray and Kieran Fitzharris got the goals. The Under 12s lost 8 -0 to Akzo Juniors.

Knuzden Youth

The Under 13s lost their unbeaten record when they went down 3-1 to Clitheroe Wolves in the Training 2000 Accrington Junior League.

Knuzden took an early lead through Lee Eddleston but Clitheroe were strong in the second half and deserved the points. The Referee's and Knuzden's MOTM was goakeeper Ben Forster for some superb saves.

The Under 14s lost heavily to Haslingden also in the Training 2000 League. Goalkeeper Danny Riley was MOTM. The Under 18s game was postponed but they take on Colne at Holt House this Sunday.

Accrington Girls and Ladies

The Under 10s drew 2-2 with Lytham. It was a good game with debutant Holly and Shannon scoring AGSAs goals.

The Under 12s Whites beat Preston 4-1.They went 1-0 down but turned the game around with Poppy scoring two and Sophie and Hannah the others.

The Under 14s lost 2-0 to Preston while the Open Age got their first win of the season beating Penwortham 5-4.

Accrington were 3-0 behind at half-time but scored five goals in 20 minutes with Lauren, Becky (two), Natalie and Rachel scoring to kill the game off.

The Ladies won 4-2 against Leigh putting them second in the league, Dotti scored two and Leanne and Sam got one each. Under 12s Blue and Under 11s had no game.
