ACCRINGTON Golf Club teen star Nikki Foster finished runner-up in the National Golf Foundation Weetabix Age Group Championships held in Warwickshire.

Nikki, from Oswaldtwistle, was among 100 of the most talented young golfers from Britain who qualified through regional stages to compete in the finals of one of junior amateur golf's most prestigious events.

Nikki, playing off a 10 handicap, finished second in the Girls Under 14 category, following two rounds of 75 and 79, making 154.
