MOORHEAD High School hosted the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley District Under-14 Badminton Championships and managed to supply competitors in all 14 finals.
Among the most successful participants was Year Nine Pupil Rhesia Baron, who not only claimed the Girls' singles championship but also partnered Charlotte Aldritt to the Girls' Doubles title.
In the final, Rhesia and Charlotte beat another Moorhead pair, Ami Connolly and Nichola Hall.
The Boys weren't quite as all-conquring but there was a notable double for Martin Fearon, who was runner-up in the singles and also ended up as runner-up in the doubles, his partner Liam Smith in the pairing which eventually lost to Clitheroe Grammar School.
The tournament was organised by Ian Smith, who is PE master at St Christopher's High School in Accrington.
