ACCRINGTON marathon legend Ron Hill will celebrate his 70th birthday with the ‘Ron Hill’s 70th Birthday 5K Road Race’.
It will take place on Thursday 25 September at 6.45pm from the Falcon Inn in Littleborough.
Ron has always been considered Britain’s greatest long distance runner and all proceeds will go to worthy causes.
Ron is hoping there will be a good turn out from his local club Clayton Le Moors Harriers and Accrington Road Runners.
Entry fee is £5 to club runners and £7 to unattached with an entry limit of 450 and NO entries on the night.
