YOUNG all-rounder Toby Bulcock capped a superb first season at Accrington Cricket Club by picking up seven trophies at the club's annual Presentation Night.
Club President Peter Barratt presented the former Baxenden star with the accringtoncc.co.uk Player of the Year award and six senior trophies.
Bulcock's trophy haul included a further three Player of the Year awards - the Heavenly Choir Supporters award, Player's Player and the Chairman's Cup.
The left arm spinning all-rounder won the County Cup for the outstanding performance in a winning game for taking 7-66 and scoring 38 against Enfield in August.
He also won the President's Cup for scoring 301 runs and the Boardwell Cup for taking most wickets (34).
Another youngster, Simon Hanson, picked up four trophies. Hanson won the Seddon Cup for the best senior batting average, the 3rd XI batting prize for most runs, the Best Senior Performance by a player Under 19 and he was also presented with a laminated copy of the page in the scorebook for the 3rd XI game against Colne when he scored an unbeaten century.
Ramiz Hussain dominated the 2nd XI awards in his first season at the club.
The all-rounder won best batting average (16.7), most wickets (26) and the Duncan Warburton Trophy for best performance which was adjudged to have been the match against Church when he took 7-31 after hitting an unbeaten 48.
Unsung hero Michael Horsfield picked up the Vice Chairman's Cup for best senior bowling average and Graeme Sneddon won the Holden Cup for most senior catches (nine).
The Leslie Martin Trophy for best wicketkeeper was taken by the safe hands of Matt Wilson who took 13 stumpings and nine catches during the season. Adam Barnes was named 3rd XI Player of the Year and Bryn Hargreaves was named Most Improved Player.
It was also a good night for the Schofield family. Julie Schofield picked up the Michael Rigby Trophy for Club Person of the Year for her consistent hard work with the juniors. Julie's son Matthew also walked off with three trophies - the Junior Player of the Year, Peter Westwell Cup for most 3rd XI wickets (24) and the 2nd XI Player of the Year award.
