ACCRINGTON Stanley Under 12s made a big splash in more ways than one.
No sooner had they snapped up a new sponsorship deal with Apeks Marine / Aquasphere UK - makers of diving and active swimming equipment - than they were crowned Lancashire FA Champions on Tuesday at Leyland.
The Under 12s followed in the footsteps of Stanley's Under 15s to clinch a county trophy, overcoming Poulton United 4-0.
It meant Stanley became the first club ever to win two LFA finals at different age groups.
