GREAT Harwood Town have given themselves a week to find a saviour or face the prospect of folding.
Harwood have been without a permanent home since the Showground was damaged by fire 18 months ago.
They have since played at Stanley but chairman Bill Holden admits the club has no future without its own ground.
Harwood need to find close to £1 million to buy the Showground but Holden hopes an investor may step forward to purchase the ground and offer the Reds a long lease.
He said: "We are in a poor position but hope springs eternal. You never know who is out there. But we can only give it about seven days because the league can only wait so long."
The North-West Counties League gave Harwood a stay of execution at its AGM but time is now running out.
