TWO Hyndburn kick boxers are on the hunt for title fights over the next year.
Light-heavyweight Luke Hamer and cruiserweight James Dean, who both work at Hyndburn Sports Centre, are hoping to make their names in the kick-boxing world.
Luke has had three fights in the last three months and has won them all while James has had two and looks set to have another bout in Wolverhampton in July.
Both have impressed in their fights so far and their instructor, English kick boxing champion Jason Curtis, thinks they can win a title soon.
"They have both been training for 18 months and have done really well," said Jason.
"They have showed a lot of potential and are looking at least have a go at a North West area title within the next year.
"Luke fought at Tranmere Rovers the other week and it was his best fight yet. He had his opponent down three times in the first round and three times in the second round. He is getting stronger."
English champ Curtis is also hoping to fight on the Wolverhampton bill next month as he builds up to a defence of his title.
