NORTHWICH manager Steve Burr says every game is a "must win" match for his Conference side - and he needs three points at the Interlink tomorrow.

The Vics were deducted 10 points because they went into administration earlier this season but have clawed them back and moved up the table.

They are still in the relegation zone but are one of the in-form teams with three successive league wins. They got knocked out the FA Cup by Vauxhall Motors.

Burr said: "We want to keep the run going.

"It will be a tough game and if we come away with anything I'll be delighted, although the position we are in we have to go and win matches. Every game feels like a must-win game."

Vics will have striker Mark Quayle back after injury but have lost influential left back Greg Young, who has been recalled by Grimsby. They have snapped up Stockport County defender Alex Lord.

  • FORMER Accrington keeper Jamie Speare will get another chance at FA Cup glory on Saturday when his Lancaster City side travel to Coca Cola League side MK Dons in the first round.

Speare played a his part in Stanley's memorable run into the FA Cup third round last season. Lancaster defeated Conference side Scarborough in the fourth qualifying round.

Also in the City line-up will be ex-Red Steve Hollis. "It would be nice to get another FA Cup scalp," he said.

  • EX-RED striker Justin Jackson looks like he has been given a football life-line by Stafford Rangers.
